Surveillance is the last Resort!

As I sit here watching a house, hoping that the subject would just hurry up and make an appearance, I was marvelling at how the private investigation world has changed in the last twenty years.  Back in those days, surveillance was the first tool that many investigators used.

Now we use the internet to trace people, we use GPS Trackers to assist with surveillance, instead of using a team of surveillance operatives to follow one person, we tend to use a GPS Tracker instead.  of course it’s not applicable for every situation.

Let’s say for example that you want to find out whether an employee who is off on long term sick is really working somewhere else?  A GPS Tracker on their car for a week would soon tell you.  Followed by a day of surveillance to get those incriminating bits of video.

Well I have to get on and follow this person as he’s just leaving to go to work it seems, he’s supposed to be off sick with a bad back!
